On Saturday night, bi-directional traffic on the western section of the Storebælt Bridge will be implemented for an emergency preparedness exercise.

During the exercise, traffic towards Funen will be diverted to the southern lanes on the western bridge. From 23.00 on Saturday evening to 07.00 on Sunday morning, bi-directional traffic with a speed limit of 80 km/h will be introduced, and overtaking will be forbidden.

There may be a short wait during the conversion to bi-directional traffic immediately after 23.00 and again shortly before 07.00, as the bridge will be closed to cars for approximately 20 minutes while traffic is redirected.
