On November 6, 2023, we got new wind restrictions on the Storebælts Bridge.

This means that you must be aware of new speed restrictions when the wind is 15 m/s or more. It is crucial that the speed limit is respected, and that is why we monitor the speed.

The ban on driving over the Storebælt Bridge only applies to trailers with a specific weight.

A trailer is a vehicle designed to be towed by another vehicle. It can, for example, be a trailer, a caravan or the like. The list is not exhaustive.

The reason for the ban is that we reduce the risk of accidents occurring on the bridge, that will block the traffic.

We have new signs showing the specific prohibitions and weight limits for trailers. The signs will appear before the last exit when the ban takes effect.
