A/S Storebælt owns and operates the 18-kilometre long Storebælt crossing, which consists of two bridges and one tunnel.
Sprogø also belongs to the Storebælt crossing. The small island located in the middle of Storebælt connects the two bridges and the tunnel. The island was expanded in connection with the crossing’s construction and is now around four times larger than before the Storebælt Bridge was built.
A/S Storebælt is a subsidiary of Sund & Bælt Holding A/S, which also owns A/S Øresund, Sund & Bælt Partner A/S, Femern A/S, and Brobizz A/S.
