Remember to pay using the same payment method for your outward and return crossings to get the discount

Please note that you can only get the public holiday discount when you pay with a bizz or your number plate. It's important that you use the same payment method for your outward and return crossings.

So, if you pay with your number plate on your outward crossing, for example, you must use number plate payment on your return crossing to get the discount. You do NOT get the discount if you pay with your number plate on the outward crossing and your bizz on the return crossing.

You do not already have a Storebælt Commuter or Disability Agreement

With a Storebælt Disability Agreement, you get a discount on the list price and a 20% disability discount. You can therefore cross at a reduced price, but you will not get any further discounts.

With Storebælt Commuter, you get the commuter discount but no other discounts.

Get a discount with a Storebælt Private agreement

You do not get an automatic discount when you cross the bridge. You must sign up for a Storebælt Private agreement to get discounts. In order to sign up, you must have a bizz or number plate payment agreement. When you have a Storebælt Private agreement, you receive the applicable discounts automatically.

The ticket is valid from 12.00 on Friday to 00.00 on Sunday.

On which holidays do I get the public holiday discount?

Holiday tickets apply on the following public holidays: New Year’s Day, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Store Bededag, Ascension Day, Whit Monday, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day.

At what time do I have to drive to get the public holiday discount?

The public holiday ticket is a round-trip discount that you can get on public holidays when making a round trip on the same day. To get the discount, your return crossing must take place before 03:00 the following day.

Which vehicles are entitled to the public holiday discount?

The public holiday discount is for cars under six metres in length and motorcycles that make a round trip on the same day.

Can I get the public holiday discount if I pay by card or cash?
