Questions and answers about prices

How is the price calculated?

When you drive through the toll station on the Storebælt Bridge, the size of your vehicle is measured automatically and your price is then calculated. We measure the total height and the total length.
The price depends on the dimensions of your vehicle measured at the time of the crossing.
This means that the measurement of the vehicle’s total height and total length includes any additional equipment that you may have installed behind and on top of your vehicle at the time of the crossing. This could include a trailer, bike rack, luggage box, running boards, towbar, or similar that increases the length or height of the vehicle (NOTE: the list is not exhaustive).

Which payment lane should I use?

Pay with bizz or number plate payment in the green express lanes
Drive in the green express lanes if you want to obtain a discount for automatic payment with either a bizz or number plate payment.

Pay by card or e-Booking in the blue lanes
Drive in the blue card lanes if you want to pay by card. We accept a number of Danish and foreign payment cards, truck cards and fuel cards, but it is also possible to pay with eBooking, bizz or number plate payment.

Pay with cash in the yellow lanes
Drive in the yellow cash lanes if you want to pay with cash. In the cash lanes, you must use our self-service terminals, where you put notes and/or coins into the machine and thus pay for the trip.
